I enjoy weird books like this. The topic is not happy, the entire book is pretty sad and there's basically zero development from the MMC, Annie's owner. It's a pretty accurate representation of the selfishness and greed of some men... esp the ones who never change.

This book deals a lot with sex in which lines of consent are somewhat blurred due to the nature of the partners being robots. It still raises a ton of ethical questions.
