The Good Mother Myth: Redefining Motherhood to Fit Reality by Christy Turlington Burns, Avital Norman Nathman

3.0

Some essays were 5 stars; some essays were 2. I guess that's the risk you take in a book full of different authors. The honesty and variety of lives that these mothers love was reassuring and helpful, though. It does make you feel less alone and less anxious. For that reason, I recommend picking it up from a library or a friend and paging through. There's bound to be at least one essay that speaks to you.
