I really love how this author ties poetry into prose and uses pieces of history to connect with the present. This book was also great for speaking out on misogyny and sexual assault. However, I do think it dragged on a little too long. Would recommend, just not if you’re in a reading slump!
Graphic: Sexual assault, War, Violence, and Misogyny
Minor: Miscarriage, Rape, Self harm, and Injury/Injury detail
