This was such an entertaining and thrilling ride! I took a break from the series after devouring books 1-3.5 and I’m so happy to be back with the Baylor family! The book picks up 3 years after the events in Dragon Fire and I would definitely recommend reading this series in order to get the full experience.
The banter between Catalina and Alessandro was so good! I loved that they were both not who/what the other was expecting. The little Italian endearments/phrases were so cute and the snarky barbs had me laughing so hard while listening to this one. Emily Rankin voiced the characters wonderfully and she nailed it as Catalina. I definitely recommend enjoying this series on audio. I can’t wait to find out what happens next!

Note: The main conflict of the book is resolved by the end, but it does have a sort of cliffhanger since there’s a larger storyline that will unfold over several books.
