- Loveable characters? Yes
3.5
When your career trajectory isn't what you expect and you end up home and compare yourself to your friends, it's not a good feeling.
Rosie is back home and just isn't making it big on broadway. She accepted a job to be the director for Cinderella, she thought this was her big break. She was surprised to find that this was not a typical theater but one in a retirement community.
I love books where there are elderlies and they form a friendship. The found family and the growth of Rosie was so perfect.
Though there is a romantic aspect to the story, it does take a back seat. This book focuses on life and how it may not go as you plan but it can still make you happy.
Jorjeana Marie did a great job on the narration.
