bbvalentino 's review for:
The Quarry Girls
by Jess Lourey
This was so goddamn sad but I loved it. The character were real and felt like they came alive off the page and into reality. I felt like they could be people I knew. It made the book immersive and mesmerizing.
I thought the concept of the tunnels was neat and a refreshing idea. It was almost a character itself.
The romance subplot was the chef’s kiss for this story.
