I knew the moment I saw that first reel on Amber's page about Umbra that I needed to read it.
It didn't disappoint. I was a bit confused at the beginning with who was who (but I'm like that with most multiple POV books), but I soon got into the swing of things.
There is so much about this book I want more of. There are so many dynamics, friendships, and relationships I want to explore further.
The dynamics between Skylar and Pele were so interesting to me because Pele acts so human. I love her meddling😂
I'm intrigued to find out if Hinata and Tentei can progress at least beyond the silent treatment.
I do love Hinata and Skylar together and hope that they can make it work in the end.
But I am shipping Frejya and Kylian and hope we get to see them end up together to at least explore that.
I also want to see more of the rekindling of Skylar and Freyja's friendship.
Also, that ending! Excuse me, but I need to know what happens now. How can you leave us like that? Skylar sure does get herself into some dicey situations. I hope she can get out of this last one.
