Contrary to what it may seem with me finishing this book in one day, I did not like it at all.
1. wattpad fanfic i read in middle school writing
2. as someone who’s been out of high school for years, reading high school smut made me feel REAL uncomfy… i knew nothing about this book except for the back description when i bought it and would not have started reading it if i knew……….,,,,,
3. ryen is not likable at all, i get why her character was made so not likable bcus she didn’t think anyone liked her etc. but even after her revelations i couldn’t find her appealing
4. if you’re here for the brat and brat-tamer possessive shit then this is for you, but knowing it’s highschoolers (once again) makes me mad uncomfortable
5. to not spend all of this shitting on this book, i thought the concept of pen pals to enemies to lovers was a good plot arc, the writing and smut just drowned out the possibility of a hard hitting novel
