This was so cute!!! My first book by Annika and definitely won’t be my last. Brothers best friend trope is my favorite so you already know I had to read this!
Hugo and Stella have grown up together, so they’ve known each other for years. And Stella’s crushed on him her whole life, but they haven’t seen each other in 10 years when Hugo moved to NYC. After Stella’s boyfriend dumps her, she gets her dream job and moves to NYC. Only to have the job offer rescinded the day before she is supposed to start with no explanation.
Much to her dismay, her parents get her a job at Hugo’s company. But under the condition she has to pretend not to know him. But who set that condition? Does Hugo not want to interact with her? Or is her family trying to intervene?
Hugo is a perfectionist, and Stella is a wild thing. But opposites attract right? This was so cute and I loved how their story played out!!
