A Study in Scarlet Women
by Sherry Thomas
This was EXCELLENT. I loved the basis - a female Sherlock Holmes and the quest to smartly and intellectually solve the mystery or murder. Charlotte Holmes is unique, quirky, and fun. Parts of the tale are laugh-out-loud funny. And the opening of the book? Charlotte's situation at the start of the tale with Roger Shrewsbury - so funny in a lovely, inappropriate way.
I listened to the audiobook and Kate Reading the narrator is excellent.
I enjoyed this so much, that I started on #2 today.
