Peter Pan
by J.M. Barrie
This is a very well written and fun story, but holy-moly Peter is practically insufferable. Admittedly, Barrie calls him out from the very beginning as being arrogant and cocky and entirely too proud. However, he never changes or learns, which can be incredibly frustrating and really puts the whole Peter Pan syndrome into a different light...
This is a classic for a reason, though, because it is such a good story, and serves as an important reminder as to why we DO eventually need to grow up.
