Anne Frank's Tales from the Secret Annex: A Collection of Her Short Stories, Fables, and Lesser-Known Writings, Revised Edition by Anne Frank

3.0

I forgot I had this alongside Anne Frank's Diary. This is good is you want to collect Holocaust memorabilia, or specifically Anne Frank mementos. This featured many entries from the diary which I had just read the week before as well as some short stories Anne wrote. I prefer the diary because these short stories easily show that they were written by teenager. Anne Frank was a talented writer, but it she was given the time she deserved, her stories would be spectacular. I can't rate this too much considered everything Anne wrote were meant to be private and she was a young girl whose life was cut too short. I'm glad to have read her original diary, but I don't think this particular publication was necessary. Anne Frank's words still resonate today and they should never be silenced.
