Against Technoableism: Rethinking Who Needs Improvement
by Ashley Shew
informative
reflective
medium-paced
This book was a great introductory-level exploration into disability studies as it relates to technology. Anyone going into a tech or human services-related field should read this book to understand the many moving parts of technology's impact on disabled lives. I wish that there had been even more expansion on some of the topics, especially on space travel and disabled futurities. Overall, Shew delivered a wonderful and compelling read.
