I loved this book! The three main women are so different and yet really great characters that are strong in their own ways.
The love stories are sweet, romantic and each has their own little touch of danger or suspense.
The background story of the Labor Day Hurricane of 1935 is fascinating and devastating! I had never heard of that storm or more importantly, about the veterans that were working on the railroad and how many were lost to the storm. Watching these three women’s story take place during this horrible storm and seeing how they are all three intertwined with each other’s lives in multiple ways was so rewarding. I saw a few connections coming but was surprised by others.
This was easy to read fast because I needed to k ow what was going to happen next to each of the characters and the dash of danger made it an exciting book to read!
