The Mistletoe Motive by Chloe Liese
5.0

Crying while trying to highlight your kindle is hard.
But someone has to do it.

Perfect book to get in the holiday spirit!!

I loved this book, it had grumpy Jonathan X sunshine Gabriella. Enemies to Lovers-Coworkers, alot of well written romance and a lot of Christmas!

Christmas cookies, Christmas shirts, Christmas music and Christmas decorations. What else do you need honestly?

And the grumpy was a hockey player!?! I’m very doubtful that you wouldn’t notice if your coworker is huge af. I mean, have you seen the built of a hockey player??? Because Gabby, girl, she had no clue about anything.

And the second hand embarrassment I felt so many times throughout this reading. I can’t.
But in the best possible way!

Jonathan’s SIRI voice! *starts to sweat*
And Jonathan is probably the most romantic character ever. He checked off everything on the list. He said everything right! At least after his frost heart thawed a little ;) Goddamn! And Hotdamn. *swooning*

I have never been so vocal reading a book. I laughed, I hid behind my hoodie, I stomped happily with my feet. I cried. I scream-cried because this book was so cute!!

It’s only one POV. I always wish we got some POV from the grumpy in these kind of books. I love to hear the inner monologue when the guy falls first.

Honestly, still 5/5 but this is the first book I would survive without the smut. The story was strong on it’s own with the great slow burn. The characters were so loveable that I was rooting for them without needing to have a sex scene.

I’m so excited to read more from this author, I have so many books on my TBR from her!
