Brutal Obsession by S. Massery

5.0

As Taylor Swift once said, “What a shame she’s fucked in the head” and it’s true, I am.

I cannot explain why I loved this book. In my brains own messed up cruel way I became obsessed with Greyson and Violet. They were both lost until they found each other and I loved every second. Yeah, yeah, yeah, “he hit her with his car” all I’m hearing is he needed to grovel (I’m kidding I don’t condone his actions… like really Greyson, I can’t believe you).

Okay but look at his turn around:
“You’re my favorite person on this planet, Violet Reece.” My confession meets her pulse point. “And we’re going to wake up next to each other for the rest of our fucking lives.”

At the end of the book he became boy obsessed and it was perfect. He went from getting everything he wanted to losing the girl he thought he’d never want time and time again. I loved how Violet was her own person, she never caved. Obviously Greyson is possessive, no shocker he didn’t give her much freedom, but still she took it.

So in all, I really liked them. This book was dark but ugh so good
As Greyson said,

“Let’s get something straight,” I say slowly, my gaze fixed on her lips. It’s a real struggle not to kiss her. “I am that terrible—and worse. Remember that, sweetheart, when you go to sleep and wish for dreams. Because you’ll just get nightmares. And me? I’m the worst fucking nightmare you could imagine.”
