A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman

5.0

I love old grumpy people. And Ove is a great deserver of my unconditional love. The dynamic between Ove and the other characters could be heartwarming, hilarious and overall incredibly entertaining. Although this book could be lighthearted at times. Ove has recently loss his wife Sonya. This book talks about how he deals with it. Ove attempts suicide multiple times before ultimately dying in the hospital because of his heart condition later in the novel. However this book also includes Ove's last memories of Sonya and other happy events such as a gay romance(not involving Ove) and a pregnant asian lady(also not involving Ove). This book has to be a favorite of my reading year i’m if not a favorite of all time.
