Yesterday Crumb and the Storm in a Teacup by Andy Sagar
3.0
3.5 stars. I'd recommended this for younger middle grade readers.
Pros: Very lush. Makes you want tea and cake many, many times. Lots of lovely moments. Loved Miss Dumpling and the tea shop. The moral of the story was well done and the ending is action packed. Wraps up nicely.
Cons: I wish more time was spent on the beginning to develop characters and plot, it felt rushed and I had a hard time believing it. The worldbuilding is also very widespread, a few times I felt jolted out of the story. Also whatever happened to the dragon?
