Shes not a good writer
All of these bridgerton men are giant red flags
The fatphobia and misogyny are red flags
Doesn’t matter that this was 20 years ago is not an excuse to write disgusting rapey , problematic tropes.
Colin being a jealous emotionally immature twat waffle even tho he’s 33 of Penelope’s success .
Then finally coming around at the end
And her giving it up for him and supporting his dreams . Nah fuck that.
The tv show is much better . Watch that . Shonda rhimes is a muc better writer .
I did appreciate the scenes where Penelope grows a backbone and stands up for herself .
