this book is fantastic!! it got me out of a huge reading slump which I'm really happy about. the beginning is kind of slow-paced but not in a bad way, and then the plot really starts to pick up. the characters are so well written and engaging, and the ending is possibly one of the saddest but best I've read. it gives the whole dark academia fantasy and had some spicy spicy murder as well, would definitely reccomend!!
