Storm by Nina Levine

Eh. Okay, I tried. I really tried to like everyone in this book. Turns out, wine can't solve all your reading problems. Or maybe that's just for me today.

In Storm, you will meet Madison and Jason. All I can say about these two is that things get pretty steamy and hot rather quickly. Other than that, they annoyed the living shit out of me. They could be talking about the weather and I would've been annoyed. It was just them. Nothing helped - not even wine.

Then there's the drama that unfolds throughout this book. Honestly, it wasn't my cup of tea and it didn't make me want to get invested in anyone. This entire 'club' sounds like horse shit. Stinky ass horse shit. Not sure how I feel about her dad cheating on her mom and basically beating her up all free willy nilly. I was expecting a throat punch or two coming is way but I got nothing.

Besides family drama, there's these two dumb and unnecessary dramas from another gang. Eh, they did nothing for me and I didn't even see them being a threat to begin with. Crazy and in need of a hug or two? Sure. Anything other than that? Nope.

In the end, I tried a new series.. but it didn't really keep my interest. Now that I know the second book is about her brother.. definitely not going to read it.
