Rating this book was quite a challenge. Partly because I expected a solid 5-star-read given how popular it is.

What I loved were the characters, the writing style, the story idea overall and how compelling this book was. These parts worked really well for me. Especially the main characters felt very real and likable.

I did expect more from this book, though, and was kind of furious with the dynamic between Luc and Oliver sometimes. The whole "Lucs a loser with no self-esteem whatsoever" got too much for me after awhile. Oliver stayed "perfect" till like 90% of the book and then had a MASSIVE breakdown out of practically nowhere. Also, I expected a hate-to-love romance, and they kind of were into each other the moment they met.

Still, I can wholeheartedly recommend this book, as the positive parts definitely outweighed the negative ones. :)
