I was expecting this book to be more action packed then the first one but it ended up being more of a cosy mystery read. Alex seeking help from this hot bartender called Finn. After Lucas leaving they developed some sort of friendship and it is really lovely watching it blossom during the hunt of solving this murder case (together with Izzie and Otto ofcourse).

It was kinda similar with the first book, being slow paced with the biggest action near the end of the book. The action was really good tho, very well described, just like the mystery and its explenations.

The romance you find in this book is different then the first one. Here it has this wholesome vibe of a perfect couple to be honest. So cute and the spice was really good.

I still love all the characters. Alex the badass and caring FMC, she is so amazing. Finn with his horrific past is such a gentle soul (and sexy). Izzie is just the sweetest friend, would do anything for Alex. Argo still brings the funny and lighthearted atmosphere to the house. Love them all.

It was a really good book and the little unexpected letter at the end of the book makes you spiral into so many thoughts of what is going to happen in book 3. I can not wait!
