This was a very interesting story. I found it to read a bit like a diary. While I ultimately enjoyed reading it, and it was an easy read, I found myself wanting just a little more. Maybe it reminds me too much of The Glass Castle, one of my favorite books and perhaps an unfair comparison. It feels uncomfortable for me to critique the main character and the storyline since this is a memoir, and ultimately, I wish nothing but the best for the author.
