Sons and Lovers by Geoff Dyer, D. H. Lawrence
2.0
It's been a while since I've read this one...But I vaguely remember being disillusioned by it. A very depressing, realist novel that raises some very important points about the working class that still resonate today.
It was a little boring at times and women are often treated very harshly throughout. I love D H Lawrence's honesty, but it was somewhat brutal.
Has stuck with me since, so worth a read if you've got a little while.
