I love Patricia Briggs' writing so much. I have read a ton of urban fantasy, and really, Briggs is my favourite. Her books have just the right combination of emotion and excitement and the stories are always well paced. Cry Wolf is a wonderful book; a great addition to the existing Mercy Thompson world. I would definitely recommend that anyone wanting to read the Alpha and Omega books start with the short story "Alpha and Omega" in the book On the Prowl. Cry Wolf picks up right where the short story leaves off and does not disappoint.
