Fire in You by Jennifer L. Armentrout, Jennifer L. Armentrout
3.0
I will read anything JLA writes, and normally I love it, but I'm just "meh" about this one.
In a way, I liked the glimpses of the couples from the other books, but at times I felt like they were getting an extended epilogue. There was a lot of "couple time" with them, but not so much with the couple of this book. There wasn't a lot of redemption, not a lot of woo'ing, and the conflict didn't happen until about 95% of the book. It was rather crazy, because there was just no resolution really. Just an "oh, ok" and it was over. I wanted, no, needed more to it. The other couples got an ending, Brock and Jillian didn't. And it was frustrating.
