The format or the book was by far the coolest thing i have ever come across!
This book gives the same story in two different perspectives and you can choose how you want to read it. You can read by alternating chapters or straight through.
I think the story was pretty cool too. Gemma and Lyra are trying to find out who they really are and what the Haven is actually doing. They're both not used to doing anything extreme but under the circumstances they did really well. The only thing is that they still seem a bit too alike. As in, they're both trying to find themselves and they're both fighting well for people who aren't used to it.
I preferred Gemma's side probably because it gave more investigative detail. Unlike Lyra, she has resources that she can use (phone, reading etc..) and therefore it helped the story move on a bit.
Lyra's side was also nice to read though! The way she fought through her challenges such as the use of a phone etc etc, was really admirable. I just recommend you read her side first :)
