Absolutely delighted by Shane and Cate’s story! I love Cate’s job as a nurse and all her patients that give meddlesome small town vibes in the best way. We got to see Poppy and Laird’s new normal as they adjust to twins with life on the road. But most importantly, Shane and Cate had every reason to have every miscommunication trope and instead we had two people doing their best to be as honest as possible. Letting their walls down despite what they had been through in the past. This was such a fun, steamy, and banter filled weekend read!
