NO ONE WARNED ME THAT THIS BOOK WOULD SHATTER MY ENTIRE SOUL BUT WOW WAS IT EXCEPTIONAL.
I didn't have any expectations for this story going in fairly blind, but WOW was I blown out of the water. As someone who doesn't read a ton of sci fi this was an excellent introduction to it, and I know I won't find another book quite as simple yet wonderful as this one. Ambrose and Kodiak have such a layered, complex, and thought provoking story, despite so much of the book taking place in such a confined space, and I know I'll be thinking about this one for a long time.
