The Road Less Traveled By by Emily Tudor
5.0

What can I say...

I have not read an Emily Tudor book that I haven't absolutely LOVED!!!!! The emotions I felt while reading were all over the map and I wouldn't have had it any other way!!!

The first thing that I want to say is being able to see Teags, Liv, and Tristan in this book AND actually be involved. It's not as common for interconnected stand-alone books to have the previous couple (regardless of their relationship to the MCs) be so actively involved as much as they were and it's was perfect!!!

Seeing Tristan and Bree's relationship flourish is amazing. Them consistently calling each other brother/sister was so freaking wholesome. And, Teag's being the only true friend Bree has ever truly had in her life was so cute. I hope we see more of Teagen in more of Emily's work.

Now the main event...

Bree and Vince were such a cute, heartwarming, and all-around badass couple!!!

I will say I wish we had seen more of their relationship from the first time he was assigned to her, but I will take what I can get. But, that was the only thing I wish we got more of.

Bree MOTHER FUCKING Hart is a badass woman. She had so much depth to her. Her trauma, her therapist, her relationships, her mindset, and everything that makes her Bree. Her standing up to her parents *chefs kiss*. Reading how she was a scared little girl in her mind to becoming the woman that Liv always knew she could be was so empowering. Her fighting off Ralph and coming to terms with all that he encompassed to her was beautiful. I cried. Hard.

I feel like I relate to a lot of fmc's but Emily Tudor writes characters in a way I haven't read very often.

Vince Evans. That's it. He was just so cute. Him naming his company after her. I mean swoon on a whole other level. Him fighting how he felt for her because of the rules he has set in place for himself was adorable. He has to make new rules after the first assignment because he was already in too deep and we all knew.
