This is one of those dystopian books that hit a little too close. I did enjoy how it was written (switching between scenes, lack of punctuation, the descriptive storytelling). It’s interesting that a book written nearly 40 years ago still doesn’t feel dated and still feels like it could actually happen in our world.
Graphic: Infertility, Miscarriage, Misogyny, Rape, Pregnancy
Moderate: Suicide, Abortion
Minor: Homophobia
