Dear Daddy, Please Want Me by Reese Morrison

4.0

Just like is said in the book, the amount of Christmas stories compared to Hanukkah ones is vast so I have only read a couple. Dear Daddy, Please Want Me has Saul and Levi who are Jewish to varying degrees and its such a sweet and enjoyable story to fall into. There is a tiny bit of talk about some of the history and the way it brings the characters together is really heartwarming as you can just imagine how the two men are.
Levi is just the cutest Boy, so excitable and wanting to make others happy that Saul can't help but find him endearing from the moment he steps into the interview. Saul is caring and really in need of that someone to share his life with what with the huge changes he's going through but he never would have imagined it would be a colleague, or at least not until meeting Levi, anyway. From the first interact, there are sparks and a connection that builds between boss and employee but flourishes once they grab the chance to become so much more to each other. That's when the relationship really comes into its own and shows how perfectly matched they are for each other.
This is a great slow burn romance with two very different people who, it turns out, want the same from life and love, that perfect person to share it with. Definitely a recommended read and a wonderful addition to the series.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.
