Güçlü Kal 365 Gün Hayata Tutun by Demi Lovato

2.0

I am a fan of Demi's music and I like that she's an advocate for mental health -- however I can't fangirl for this book. The book is VERY cliche and VERY vague in the goals and quotes. I was expecting more. They're lines you've heard a million times before like 'follow your dreams' and 'don't compare yourself to others'. I tried to do it one day at a time, but I wanted more. So I often found myself reading ahead and reading backwards sometimes too. She's had such an interesting life and career with some unique challenges for someone her age. It's a shame she didn't get to personalize this more. I'm sure Demi has some amazing stories that are inspirational as well. It's unfortunate that they didn't come across in this book. Next time she should write a memoir or a book specifically about her life challenges and how she overcame them with tips and advice for young people. I'd definitely read that.
