For so long I have been saying on tik tok that people don’t like Lizzie because they don’t know Lizzie yet, and now I’ll start screaming it from the rooftops.
You knew there was more to her than meets the eye, and the amount of trauma this poor girl has been through makes her make so much more sense in my brain.
Do I like that the characters talk as if they’re adults at 9 years old? Not particularly, but you kind of know that’s what you’re getting into with a BOT book. I also felt like the last chapter was underwhelming, but that could just be me.
