Reading this book was like reading the draft of an unfinished novel. The dialogue was jarring, the pacing was odd, and there needed to be more detail (though maybe fewer characters/plotlines). Parts of it made no sense, and I found myself saying "what the hell?!" fairly regularly.

I would've given it 1 star, but I enjoyed the concept and 1 star seemed almost unfairly low.
