Another sweet and steamy romance from Trish Doller. The third book in the Beck Sisters series follows Carla Black, best friend to Anna Beck, as she travels to Ireland for wedding. Along the way, she is waylaid by Eamon, the groom's handsome brother. Carla lives by the travel rules her dad, Biggie, set years ago: Travel light. Leave nothing behind. Don't get attached. Eamon dreams of traveling around the world but is too scared to take the plunge. When they meet, sparks fly and they wind up taking the extremely scenic route from Dublin to the wedding venue.
I really enjoyed this one! Having been to Ireland, it was fun to read about the misadventures of Carla and Eamon in places like the Wicklow Mountains. Like the other entries in this series, the characters are dealing with some serious life stuff and watching them figure that out and find space for each other is satisfying. I can't recommend this series highly enough. You could read out of order and have no trouble following the plot. Personally I read them in order but it isn't necessary. I'm not sure whether there will be another book in this series since there are only two Beck sisters and they've both gotten a book -- maybe one of Eamon's other siblings?? Here's hoping! Either way, I can't wait to read whatever Trish Doller writes next.
