solidly confirmed me as a mood reader, i forgot this would be a nonfiction read and coming off of a recent read of a thousand ships (also great), i wasn't sure i was up for this. BUT a minutes in and it had me, learning the real backstory behind some characters I've only known about through high exposure pop culture examples as mentioned was so view changing in terms of enjoying greek mythology that idk if i can go back to consuming it the way I did before. now unless they've taken the space to have well developed representation of these women in their story i don't want it! its bittersweet though, will anything live up to what i now crave desperately for when i'm in a greek mythology mood? will the ensuing rereading of circe satiate??
