Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling

5.0

The author's voice has become stronger since the last two, and the writing is more clear and much less passive voice. I loved the first two novels, but I think there's a world of difference in the storytelling for #3. The author seems to have taken a leap up in skill in my opinion. Also, some of things that were glossed over in the movie stand out in the book to tie the story together stronger. This was a fun read, and a story with a strong, intelligent girl that I could share with my eight-year-old.
