Finally decided to give a Colleen Hoover novel a shot - giving this a 7.2/10.
It was an easy and quick read and intriguing enough for me to want to find out what’s really going on/ what is going to happen. Based on reviews, I was expecting a much bigger twist. I’m not really a fan of books without a conclusive ending and this book borderlines on “smut” which is really not my thing either. Other than those aspects, I felt it was a decent book but I wouldn’t really classify it as a “thriller”. If you do like books where you have to assume the ending/ you do like smut you might love this book. I also don’t really buy the main plot line but I can’t really say much more than that without giving away a huge part of the book.
Overall, a simple/intriguing enough read which is perfect for when you’re on vacation!
