When I started this, I was really into it, but after listening to it all the way... no. The thing is, the idea is pretty appealing, but it was inconsistent. There was one objective: to save the prince who had been kidnapped, but mid way the heroine decided to just pursue something else and go for "we need to investigate this, I'm sure the prince will be fine with his captors for a while".
Not to mention... after certain events it was really easy to pick up on the entire plot, but we're still treated to a whole info dump in the form of a overheard conversation, instead of the heroine learning everything through deduction or tightly plotted foreshadowing.
There were just things that rubbed me the wrong way in this book because it was a bit all over the place, I suppose. I would not recommend this, despite the fantastic premise, it seems the author was a bit unsure of what plot lines to pursue. Not to mention the romance was predictable too (but at least it wasn't insta love, so there's that).
