If his parents' book was super entertaining and enjoyable to me, Ivan's was the complete opposite. I found it boring and dull, could not really be convinced to care much for him or be convinced of the blooming love.
I was curious how he'd get away from Himself in the end, and get to keep his happiness, but still, mostly meh.
