Fumbled

It takes a really good story for me to enjoy the secret baby trope. This one delivered. Come to think of it, I also claim to dislike sports stories, but here we are.
Pros: A swoony boyfriend who is sensitive but also realistic with mood swings and anger issues. I really loved the work he went through to get them where they needed to be. The heroine is also complex and nuanced. I really liked being in her head.
Cons: I felt it ran a bit long, with numerous unnecessary scenes and subplots that didn't really contribute to the story.
The audiobook was good, but the narrator often didn't vary the voices enough for me to distinguish who was speaking during a conversation.
