Of Mutts and Men by Spencer Quinn

3.0

I used to get annoyed when Chet would go off on these irrelevant tangential rants while telling the story. Now I embrace them and enjoy them. In this installment Bernie and Chet meet a hydrologist at a party. They go to see him the next day at his remote worksite and find him murdered; his throat slit. This is all about water, land, and powerful people. It’s a little predictable but still packed some surprises.
