The Family Upstairs by Lisa Jewell
3.0
i definitely enjoyed this book, i wanted to know what happened.
i was slightly disappointed by its ending although i’m not sure what i expected from it. it was twisty but had laid the groundwork for those twists to make sense, especially as I correctly guessed one of them.
i probably won’t read the sequel as i don’t care enough about the characters it concerns, especially Henry who was just plain unlikable the whole time, however i did enjoy the unreliable narrative aspect of the book.
overall, a good read with good pacing however I think I’ll need some time to decide if i want to read anymore of Lisa Jewell’s catalogue.
