This is my first adult epic fantasy series and I'm officially in love.
A world filled with Frey, runes, goblins, mystics, bears and wolves. The world was rich and filled with wonder. This multiple POV epic fantasy is a great book for a beginner wanting to get into the adult fantasy genre. This is the first book I've read by Michael J Sullivan. I was tossing up whether to read his works chronologically or by publication. And to be honest I think it's ok to start here, if not I will change this review once I've completed the Riyria Revelations.
I won't dive too much into the details. Just a friend suggested the series said, "Just read it, you won't regret it". She doesn't realise how right she was, the less you know the more enjoyable this series is
