Damaged Goods is my first Talia Hibbert book, and I didn’t know anything about it going in. Lo and behold, there are CONTENT WARNINGS! With chapter numbers! Oh my god every author needs to add content warnings in some capacity to their books, and when someone does with as much care as Talia Hibbert did it makes me so happy.
Anyway, on to the actual book review. I enjoyed this novella! I’m definitely more of a romcom girl than an emotional/tense romance girl, but the pacing was really good and it felt like a full story even at only 160 pages.
I don’t think this series is necessarily right for me, but I will definitely be reading more of Talia Hibbert’s books. Her writing style feels like a good match for me as a reader, so I can’t wait to read some of her more lighthearted books. 3.5 stars.
