Out of the 8 books in the series this was by far my favorite, but the most difficult to read. The story deals with a child that experiences grooming and gaslighting, but I felt like the author did an excellent job with delicately giving the reader enough information to imply what was going on without having to go into graphic detail. I really felt for the character of Antsy and at times it seemed like she just wasn’t able to catch a break. Just like with the other books in the series, I also liked the world Antsy traveled to and the concept behind it. I was hooked from the start of this story all the way until the very end. I have not liked every book in the series, but these last few I have enjoyed the direction they have taken and if you are someone who is still considering on whether or not to start the series or wonder if you should continue on, I say do it!
