I was given an ARC of this book to read and review. 

The story starts out as a banshee and her gargoyle bodyguard walk into a bar. No, this isn’t a joke, they go into inspect an artifact, and things turn sour. 

The gargoyle does his job to protect the banshee, and protect her he does. He lets her feel her feelings, and knows she can feel his too. He’s gentle and kind to her, and the chemistry between these two is just… ughhh. It’s perfection. 

There’s BDSM in this which I love, and he freaking makes her BEG for it. I just… there’s just so much I loved in this. The details and description of the intimacy of these characters nearly brought me to tears while reading. Yes, a monster fucking book almost made me cry. I’m a banshee apparently. Who could have known!? 

Maybe instead of book dragon, I’m a book banshee? 

This is probably one of the best novellas I have ever had the pleasure of setting my eyeballs on. If you like monsters, smut, and BDSM - you should read this. Seriously, go read it!
