Ghosts by Raina Telgemeier

5.0

Ms. Telgemeier does it again with another great comic book filled with great characters and a deep message, despite the fact younger readers can read this too. Also, a great book with main characters that aren't white and a wonderful tale filled with Hispanic mythology and festivals. And you can't celebrate the day of the dead without first trying to understand death, which is always looming over the main character and her little sister. Both Cat and her sister have different thoughts and different reactions to death, so what do they do when they move to a place where ghosts can actually interact with the living one night of the year?
